Forestry Tasmania Lies

"Huon Valley Environment Centre rejects Forestry Tasmania's claim that we have entered any agreement regarding protesting.  Huon Valley Environment Centre will continue to undertake all peaceful means necessary to bring attention to the agressive devastation of Tasmania's ancient forests" Huon Valley Environment Centre spokesperson Jenny Weber said.

"Forestry Tasmania have suggested Huon Valley Environment Centre agreed to reconsider it's non violent peaceful means to defend Tasmania's threatened forests.  Yesterday's Weld Valley action was symbolic of how successful peaceful direct action for Tasmania's forests gives a national spotlight to the loss of endangered species and large wilderness areas," Jenny Weber said.
