Weld Valley Forest Defender in Court

"Warrick Jordan, a Weld Valley Forest Defender is today in court, facing charges of alleged trespass, in state forests.  Jordan is the first person to be charged for the controversial 'walk in' held  by the Huon Valley Environment Centre.  The 'Walk In' held in February was the target of a Supreme Court injunction by State Government entity Forestry Tasmania," Huon Valley Environment Centre Spokesperson Jenny Weber said.

"Warrick Jordan will be appearing in Hobart's Magistrates Court today. Meanwhile huge areas of ancient forest and endangered species habitat is being rapidly destroyed in the threatened World Heritage Weld Valley," Jenny Weber said.
