Community Reclaims Weld Valley with message to Protect Ancient Forest

"Community members have today reclaimed Eddy rd with a new blockade, despite the media and public exclusion zone in the Lower Weld Valley. Commitment by the local community blah blah" Huon Valley Environment Centre Spokesperson Jenny Weber said.

"Forestry Tasmania have left the area, removed machinery and the 24hour police presence has been dismantled. Ancient forest is immediately under threat," Jenny Weber said.
