*Media Alert*

Community stages walk into Weld Valley exclusion zone.

Today community members will defy the media and public exclusion zone over the Weld Valley and bear witness to the destruction of these World Heritage Quality forests. More arrests predicted today.

"After 13 arrests in the last 5 days and one forest defender remanded in custody for two nights, conservationists will today continue their efforts to protect the Weld Valley forests from this new roading that is destroying the potential National park values of the area," said spokesperson Adam Burling

When: Today, Sunday 19th Nov. 9:00am.

Where: Meet at Huon Valley Environment Centre, 17 Wilmot Rd Huonville. Then travel 30 minutes to the edge of the Weld Valley exclusion zone to walk in.
