Hobart Action to support Weld Valley, Tasmania

"A solidarity action is being held in Hobart today. Community members are meeting in Franklin Square at 1:30pm to show a sign of support for the Weld Valley Blockade," Spokesperson Ula Majewski

"Whilst Annie, a 25year old woman sits in a tree sit protest at the Weld Valley Ark Blockade, we are bringing the message to the city. Today's raid by a large contingent of police is the Government sanctioning destruction of Tasmania's natural heritage. Weld Valley, in Tasmania's south is of world heritage value and under immediate threat from woodchipping," Spokesperson Ula Majewski said.
