19.02.11-21.02.11 Southern Forest Convergence

Southern Forest Convergence brings together activists to exchange skills and learn about the latest issues with protecting Tasmania's ancient forests. This year's event will be hosted at the Huon Valley Environment Centre. There will be workshops from HVEC and Still Wild Still Threatened campaigners as well as a live skpe video link with author Derrick Jensen.

Rainforest activist, John Seed will be running a Deep Ecology workshop. Sunday will host a gig with US singer Dana Lyons and local act Log Jam Fury at Brookfield Vineyard. A copy of the full programme will be put online once it is finished.
